We are pairing up with Coracle Adventures to organise a multi-boat sailing holiday in Croatia this June. This will be perfect for individuals and small groups who want to enjoy the sunshine and get to grips with a modern sailing yacht, and who also might want to mingle with a larger group. As you might expect, theyachtskipper.com’s unique style of ‘comfortable coaching’ will be on offer to those who are new to yachting. For those who are more experienced (Day Skipper qualified and above) there will be the opportunity to take charge or to practise skippering skills, all under Graham’s watchful eye.

The cruising area
The starting and finish point for this sailing holiday in Croatia is Seget Donji, a short transfer from Split Airport. It is close to the historic town of Trogir. From here it’s easy to access the nearby islands of Brac, Hvar and Korcula, as well as to go a bit further afield towards the Kornati islands. For those not familiar with the sailing area, think Greece with a Venetian feel. We will be able to visit historic harbours as well as isolated anchorages.
There will be an emphasis on sailing during the day, allowing for the occasional swim stop and island exploration. At night we might be moored up in an interesting harbour or at anchor in a lovely cove.
What’s the deal
We have secured a lovely 44′ Salona yacht which has 4 cabins and can sleep up to 10. However, there are only 6/7 places available on this yacht, and we expect to fill these quickly. Cabins are shared – unless you are willing to book both berths – but there will be plenty of space on board and on deck.
What’s included in the price: shared cabin, all charter fees, fuel & mooring costs, linen, day time food and drinks.
What’s not included: flights to/ from Split, transfers, insurance, evening meals ashore.
